Aaron Penberthy

At the young age of 7 I asked Jesus Christ into my heart. I truly consider it a joy to be working with Western Christian Academy and have been working with WCA for more than 5 years. I graduated from Masters College in 1999 with a B.A. in Physical Education. I continued my studies and received my Master’s degree in Cross Cultural Education in 2003 from National University. I later enrolled in the Chancellors Fellowship Program at Fresno State and received my Administrative Credential in 2015.

I have been married for 19 years to my beautiful bride Melissa. I have 4 kids (Josiah, Emma, Hannah, and McKayla). I enjoy spending time with my family, golfing, doing the announcements at church and watching all my kids compete in athletics. I am truly blessed by my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

The Testimony of Aaron Penberthy

My name is Aaron Penberthy and I have been saved since I was 7 years old.

I grew up in church but that is not what saved me. My parents helped pave a path for me with the complete understanding that Christ would be magnified, but only if I knew who Christ was on a personal level. I put my faith in Jesus Christ and recognized that I was a sinner and was graciously saved by Jesus Christ knowing he took the punishment for my sins on the cross. The Bible teaches that, as sinners, we can never be good enough on our own merit. But God offers us these benefits as a free gift, purchased in love by the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ. We accept this gift by placing our faith in Christ, repenting of our sins, and trusting in His death as the means of our forgiveness and acceptance by God, receiving Him as our Savior and Lord.

God is good and has blessed me with 4 beautiful children, and I have my wife to thank for that. We have been married for 23 years.

We remain faithful to His Word; I fail often but I know He has saved me, and we look forward to His glorious return.

Philippians 2:3-11
Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, 4 not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.
5 In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus:
6 Who, being in very nature God,
did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage;
7 rather, he made himself nothing
by taking the very nature of a servant,
being made in human likeness.
8 And being found in appearance as a man,
he humbled himself
by becoming obedient to death—
even death on a cross!
9 Therefore God exalted him to the highest place
and gave him the name that is above every name,
10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
11 and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.
