Achievement Testing

Achievement testing costs are included for full-time students in 3rd-11th grades. Parents will automatically receive instructions and information at the parent email address on file. Achievement testing can be done directly through our school. Most states that require testing allow this instead of testing at a local public school.  Other students that opt to take it will have a nominal testing fee.

11th grade students are encouraged to take an ACT or SAT test, which are external tests through ACT Inc. or College Board. 12th grade students are required to take an ACT or SAT test. Please request our WCA school code when registering for testing such as ACT or SAT. Note: WCA does not cover the cost of college entrance tests such as the ACT or SAT.

Description:

Annual achievement testing provides parents a basis for measuring achievement year to year to determine the academic growth of students. Evaluation of test results aids in setting realistic academic goals and expectations for each student. Testing identifies weak areas needing remediation.Comparison with national norms also indicates if students are performing below average, within the average range, or above average range.

When:

Our testing dates vary from year to year, but are generally in mid to late spring. Parents will receive more detailed information at the parent email address on file.
