Letter from the Principal…
Where then is Hope…?
Rom 8:24-25 … Now hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what he sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience.
Hope requires patience. In a culture and society that has quick access to most everything, we are not accustomed to waiting, but, anything of value is worth waiting for.
Western Christian Academy is in the business of helping students and families understand this principle through our approach to education. Each student is unique. Many of our students, from all walks of life, come to us with deficiencies in their learning. However, we can provide almost every student a path toward success and graduation despite so-called deficiencies. For some, this takes time and hard work to overcome habits that have been developed, but through patience, their hope becomes their reality.
For generations, the prophets hoped for the Messiah, but very few recognized the baby, born of a virgin. Mary was chosen, found to have favor with God, yet pondered all that was told her within her heart.
During this Christmas season, may you ponder your hopes & dreams within your heart as you wait patiently, but expectantly upon the One who is at work in you, perfecting His great work in the wonderful creation of you. Hope is in Jesus! Merry Christmas!!!

WCA Graduate Perspective:
“My experience with Western Christian Academy was one of great importance to me. Having been through the regular school system for most of my education (elementary and middle school), it was a great transition into being homeschooled and being educated by Western Christian Academy during the last four years. Not only was I able to be taught by a Christian-based atmosphere, but I was also able to learn more about myself along the way. Being homeschooled by Western Christian Academy allowed me to find motivation, ambition, and independence within myself. I am more than grateful to have been a part of this online academy during my 4 years of high school and I wouldn’t have wanted it to be any other way.
From the Heart of WCA Parents
“My daughter Layla will be attending WCA again for the 6th grade level. She thoroughly enjoys attending the online Western Christian Academy school and I love it for her. Also, I had been chatting with my sister about it for her two boys and she’s very excited about switching them both. I have spoken very highly of this curriculum and my daughter has too. We wouldn’t have my daughter’s education any other way than what she’s getting at Western Christian Academy.” Pamela G from NC
“Joy is the reflection of Christ in you!” Therefore, In all things…Be joyful!

Meet WCA 12th Grade Student – Youmin Oh
I have been enrolled in WCA from the 10th grade through the 12th grade.
I am originally from South Korea. I attended 3 years of private middle school and high school in the United States. While attending private school in the United States, I dropped back two and a half years to ensure that my English was improved enough before taking my next step of attending college. Even though I wanted to shorten my high school years, it was impossible to do that.
By attending WCA, it enabled me to take high school courses and prepare for college in a short time. I spent 2 years completing 10th, 11th, and 12th grade. I was able to learn skills like time scheduling and course management that are needed for college.
In addition to this, I was also able to save money for college tuition by attending WCA, an accredited school program.
I found that homeschooling with Western Christian Academy offered many beneficial aspects, to include, academic flexibility, efficient learning, and shortening time based on each student’s ability.
I would like to introduce this great program to people who have difficulties in learning, adapting to school, or for those who are not on track with their education.
I am planning to attend one of the top 50 state universities in 2020. I believe that I will be able to demonstrate and showcase my abilities in my future college career as a result of what I have acquired here at WCA.
