Every person has a worldview and believes in something, but “why” do we believe it? A worldview is constructed by life influences and experiences that provide a lens through which the world is viewed and processed.
The Christian worldview is a biblical worldview, whereby life is filtered through the Bible. It determines how we interact with people by setting a standard of serving others (Romans 12-15; Galatians 5:22-26; Luke 10:25-37). It is an integral part of what we do, and who we are at Western Christian Academy. It provides purpose, hope, and an anchor to the process of fulfilling our mission. The Christian worldview is interwoven into all our curriculum. Therefore, learning at Western Christian Academy develops the whole individual both academically and spiritually. This provides “hope for today and tomorrow.”

INDIVIDUALIZED
This foundational principle of Western Christian Academy sets us apart from the ideological theories of education and gets to the heart of education – developing life-long learners, one student at a time. Rather than curriculum based upon what is best for an entire class, we consider the individual student and think critically about how to best support that student right where they are, not where they should be chronologically. Placement tests inform us of the capability of the student by identifying “learning gaps” in their academics. Students are then provided with individualized curriculum at their functional level, which may or may not be at their academic level. A support team of teachers and counselors come alongside each student to ensure a strong foundation for achievement.

We understand that budgets are tight for many families. This is just one reason why Western Christian Academy believes in consistency when it comes to tuition. Our goal is to maintain consistent tuition costs for a minimum of two years, thereby helping families to plan for their students’ education.
