Madalin Potoroaca is Administrator of our Learning Center in Romania where he oversees daily activities. He supports families through the enrollment process and serves as interpreter, and facilitator with the United States administration team to train parents in the standards for administering the Western Christian Academy curriculum. As one of the leaders of the homeschooling movement in Romania, he organizes a national camp and many conferences each year on Christian education and has helped to establish several homeschool education centers.

Madalin is a graduate of the University of Petrosani with a degree in Social Work, and has completed multiple additional courses in biblical counselling in Romania and the United States. He served for several years as a social worker and taught Christian sex education at the Betania Sibiu Christian High School. He is an elder in the International Presbyterian Church, Sibiu, and a biblical counsellor specializing in addiction, sex education and marriage.

He is married to his beautiful wife Agnia who studied literature and taught in the public school system before devoting her time to homeschooling their 4 children. Madalin and Agnia, co-founded the Association Set Free by the Truth through which they organized conferences, camps, counselling, support groups, and produced resource materials for families and the church. For three years, they also ran an addiction rehabilitation center for people struggling to break free from the shackles of addiction. Together, they produced a series of children’s books on biblical sex education and translated the books from English to Romanian to help parents approach the topic with their children.
