WCA December Newsletter
Western Christian Academy chooses to be a light on a hill and salt that flavors. We choose to fulfill our purpose that God has called us to, come what may. We choose hope, joy, and peace that comes from the greatness and goodness of our Savior. You do not have to be large to have a mighty impact. Jesus came as a baby…and the world has not been the same since.
Our prayer for all of you is that you CHOOSE JOY this Christmas Season and that a smile is on your face each time you say “Merry Christmas” to anyone. Choose to take time to read Luke 1:46-55 and rejoice over the entire Christmas story. Just as Mary was chosen, so are we, and we will glorify God for the gift of His Son, Immanuel, the one who save His people from their sins.
Congratulations WCA August & September

WCA Graduate Parent’s Comments:
Lindsey’s greatest achievement was being able to maintain a 4.0 in her classes, she accredits this success to believing in herself and never underestimating the power of hard work. She plans on majoring in psychology and taking pre-med classes at West Texas A&M University. She hopes to become a psychiatrist to help others and to help break the stigma around mental health issues.
UPDATE: Currently Lindsey has received a full scholarship to Frank Phillips Community College where she is majoring in nursing. She works at Kern Memorial Hospital in Dalhart, Texas. Lindsay, we are so excited and happy to have been a part of what God is doing in and through your heart and life.
“There is no limit of what God can do through a heart and life that is totally yielded to Him.”
Lindsey refers back to this verse as a reminder that if she follows God through her journey she will be able to accomplish all of this and more, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all of your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight” (Proverbs 3:5-6)
Thank you Western Christian Academy!” Michael & Sharon H. (Parents)

I am married. My husband and I have two sons, two daughters-in-law and four grandchildren. God called my husband into full-time youth ministry after we were married. I served alongside him in youth ministry and later when he became the lead pastor.
Looking back, I can see how God has always watched over me. I want everyone to know how much God loves them.
I pray this verse for all our students: Psalm 71:17 Since my youth, God, you have taught me, and to this day I declare your marvelous deeds.

Introducing WCA 2020 Students Naudia & Trinity Massie…
My name is Trinity Massie and I am 17 years old. I live in Yacolt, WA. As far back as I can recall, horses have been a huge part of my life. When I look at one of my horses, I see God’s magnificent creation. Through them, I have become more in tune with myself, which has in turn, led me to learn more about Jesus.
Mounted Archery was love at first sight and is an exceedingly rare sport. With this incredible skill being forgotten, as a family, we felt the need to open our Horseback Mounted Archery Facility, which is now called Arrowhead Acres. I am very blessed to have the opportunity to practice consistently on our home range, while also being able to shoot alongside highly skilled mounted archers and instruct in this martial art. We have worked together this year and it has been deeply rewarding.
My sister and I have placed as the top two archers in the Junior Division for the U.S. I also earned my Kassai International Judgeship this Summer which is a lifetime responsibility, committing to the Discipline and Preservation of Horseback Mounted Archery for future generations. I am honored to carry on all that is required of me. I am the youngest Judge and the 3rd female internationally. Mounted Archery is an empowering sport, which has made a positive impact on my life. It has taught me quiet strength, determination, and most of all balance. I am extremely excited for the future of this primitive skill, for all who join.
I pray it becomes a widespread sport and I think many others like myself will benefit in their horsemanship as well.
I am so thankful that I am able to attend WCA. I strive to use the same concentration developed through Horseback Archery to hit my educational targets as well.
My name is Naudia Massie and I live in Yacolt, WA.
I am very thankful to be a part of Western Christian Academy. It is an amazing school!
I am blessed with many things in my life, my faith, my family, and many beautiful animals.
Arrowhead Acres is our home range for Horseback Mounted Archery. It is a gorgeous facility with all courses available for practicing and competing in Mounted Archery.
I am currently the youngest instructor and competitor in the U.S. I started shooting the Bow on horseback when I was 10 years old.
Through the primal skill of using the bow on my horse, I have learned greater focus, as well as the ability to react quickly.
My horses are my strength and together we must share incredible teamwork to hit our targets. Horseback Archery is the Queen of martial arts, and requires great confidence for both the horse and rider.
May God continue to keep America safe and strong.
” AMERICAS WARRIOR PROJECT”. We all are committed to preserving the Ancient Skill of Survival through Mounted Horseback Archery.
Send your US Veteran our way to join our life changing Program. The discipline and skill that will be shared by the Volcano Ridge Mounted Archers is incredible.
THANK YOU.
AMERICAS WARRIOR PROJECT
We are dedicated to sharing the education of Mounted Archery with the World.
