WCA PRAYER REQUESTS

WCA PRAYS!
WCA has numerous families and students who are dealing with cancer, depression, brain tumors, heart failure, brain surgery, and other major health issues and/or the loss of precious family and/or loved ones.

Please pray for those who are in the military and serving all over the world and often separated from their family. Please join with us to lift them before our heavenly Father for a special touch of His healing, comforting love, and ever abiding presence.

James 5:16b “The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” KJV

If you or your family would like to be added to our prayer list, please call us at 800-868-5839.

WCA Rocks!

WCA 2022 CHRISTMAS SUICIDE
PREVENTION
KINDNESS ROCK OUTREACH

More than 40,000 people take their own lives in the U.S. every year and the week of Christmas.

Thank you WCA Families and friends for being a vital part of WCA’s 2022 Suicide Prevention Christmas Kindness Rock Outreach!

With your help, we were able to gift 576 rocks all across America! Every rock counts! Only God knows and sees each seed we planted through this effort. In Heaven, we will rejoice over every heart and life spared. (Every rock had a special card, a scripture, hope-filled encouragement, the 24/7 Suicide Hotline Phone Number, and our school website.)

Thanks for helping us share the love of Christ and a message of HOPE!
(See photos below. All rocks are not pictured but we tried to give a representation from each contributor.)

A SPECIAL THANK YOU is extended towards the following WCA students, families and friends:

Daniel & Janette, Tirzah, Leanne, Krystal, Hannah, Asia and Hannah Woods. ( The Twelve Days of Christmas Collection), Eneshia, Jason & Jenisys Oliver-Joseph, Charles, Angela & Tyler Hagan, Gracie Cotton & Family, Debra & Samuel S., Brian, Carolynn, Oliver & Xavier Ritterman, Jenny Swartzbaugh, and WCA Staff Members.

You are making a difference, changing hearts and changing lives by your commitment to reach out and share His love in this special way.

This infusion of HOPE to those in despair and who were discouraged makes the difference between a person choosing LIFE or DEATH!

What is School Choice?

If you want to change the world…
Save your children from public school indoctrination!

What Is School Choice? School choice is a term that represents the many ways students access their K–12 education. Many still choose their schools by buying a home in their desired district, but today’s parents engage in school choice in more diverse and ever-evolving ways.

In a nutshell: School choice allows public education funds to follow students to the schools or services that best fit their needs —whether that’s to a public school, private school, charter school, home school or any other learning environment families choose.

STUDENT CORNER

Introducing WCA 10th Grade Student

Natalie Jackson

We are Daniel & Kimberly Jackson. Our daughter is Natalie Jackson. She is 16 years old and in the 10th grade at Western Christian Academy. She has been enrolled at WCA since the 8th grade.

Natalie started WCA just after the pandemic hit. We moved to Kansas from Alabama mere months before lockdown. We chose WCA because, it is accredited, the Christian core values align with ours, and Natalie could safely study at home. Natalie enjoys learning and has enjoyed the freedom to learn at her own pace. One of her favorite subjects is French. Her hobbies are art, piano, music, baking, and reading. She has not chosen a particular path for her future yet, but she would like to help others.

Meet Natalie!

I’m Natalie Jackson and I’m in the 10th grade. My favorite thing is to do things with my family. We love to decorate our yard for the holidays, especially Halloween and Christmas, and we make the most of the decorations that we put out each year. I think it’s wonderful to see adults and children alike stop to look at our setup. I also love to bake, read, listen to music, play piano, and do just about anything that has to do with art.

I love WCA because I have so much more time to spend with my family and do the things that I love. It gives me so much more freedom than a regular school setting would. I can’t say that I have a favorite subject in school; I just love to learn!

Thanks for choosing WCA as your choice
for “excellence in education”.
May your family be blessed in 2023!
It’s a New Year and a New Beginning!
The BEST is yet to come!
